“There is nothing I would not do for those who are really my friends. I have no notion of loving people by halves, it is not my nature.”
-Jane Austen
Individually we are flawed and imperfect. We are four vastly different people and yet we’ve been friends for over 20+ years. It is the most rewarding and liberating feeling in the world to love a flawed person knowing that person loves and accepts the flaws in you.
From left to right we are:
kathleen: the dirty martini – Decorator extraordinaire. Instagram famous (we see you Galley Beach) and dubiously insists she was a very shy child. If she was, she shed that persona long ago.
maureen: the vodka soda – Works. But doesn’t like it. Always trying to find a way to reduce her hours which is ironic because she is the “taskmaster”. You want the job done? Maureen’s your girl!
sarah: the gin & tonic – The Brit. Originally from England and has a lingering accent after over 35 years in the U.S. Don’t let the prim and proper appearance fool you. I have one word: Tequila.
darlene: the appletini – The least funny, but the most tech-savvy of the four. Because of this, she is secretly convinced her friendship with the other three is based solely on her ability to update their iPhones.
WELCOME! We’re so glad you’re here!
